Gawker, Founder Pay $31M To Settle Hulk Hogan Litigation

Law360, Los Angeles (November 2, 2016, 1:48 PM EDT) -- Gawker Media and its founder and former CEO Nick Denton agreed Wednesday to pay $31 million plus a share of the proceeds from the website's bankruptcy sale to end claims brought by wrestler Hulk Hogan over the publication of a secretly recorded sex tape, according to court documents.
