Justices Won't Review Case Over $10M Birth Injury Verdict

Law360, New York (December 4, 2017, 4:40 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to take up a case over a $10 million birth defect jury award to a military family that had been overturned by the Ninth Circuit because the birth took place outside the U.S.

The high court made the announcement in a list of rejected petitions for certiorari, and gave no reasoning, as is customary for cert denials.
