Wis. Tribe Seeks Quick Win In Gambling Compact Spat

Law360, New York (December 5, 2017, 7:22 PM EST) -- The Forest County Potawatomi Community on Monday asked a D.C. federal judge to vacate a Bureau of Indian Affairs decision rejecting an amendment to the tribe’s state gambling compact, arguing that the ruling was based largely on the incorrect conclusion that the proposal imposed payment obligations on a rival tribe.
