Auto Service Contract Clause Nixes Class Action: Panel

Law360 (May 17, 2018, 3:49 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey state appeals court on Thursday upended a trial court ruling allowing a putative consumer fraud class action against a vehicle warranty business to proceed, saying an arbitration clause in the customer's service contract clearly shows he waived his right to sue.
