NJ Atty Suspended Over Grand Larceny Conviction In NY

Law360 (March 13, 2018, 6:07 PM EDT) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court on Monday suspended an attorney convicted of grand larceny in New York, rejecting a bid by the Office of Attorney Ethics to disbar the attorney entirely.

Tatiana Filimonova Poley, who has been disbarred in New York, will be suspended from practicing law in New Jersey for one year after the high court agreed with its disciplinary review board, which determined that practicing law in New York while suspended in that state and accepting a fee from a client under false pretenses did not warrant a full disbarment in this case.
