The Privacy Shield 5 Months Later

Law360, New York (January 10, 2017, 8:55 PM EST) -- Organizations have now had five whole months to try to come to terms with the new regime for transatlantic data transfers. The EU-U.S. Privacy Shield went live in August 2016, but many questions remain over how the system operates in practice and whether it will withstand scrutiny and possible future challenge.
