Law360 (December 2, 2020, 8:10 PM EST) -- Data intelligence firm Morning Consult has inked a deal to lease 49,000 square feet in Washington, D.C., Commercial Observer reported Tuesday. The deal is for space at the 498,000-square-foot Woodies Building, a 10-story office and retail property owned by Douglas Development, according to the report.

A venture of developers Karim Lakhdar and Eddy Chabli and lawyer Evan Kagan is seeking to fill in a South Florida lake and build a condo tower there, the South Florida Business Journal reported Tuesday. The venture is seeking approval to fill in Silver Blue Lake near Miami Shores and build 720 apartments in 18 buildings at the 57.1-acre site, according to the report.

Home Depot has reached a deal to lease 120,000 square feet in Manhattan, Commercial Observer reported Tuesday. The deal is for space at 28-40 W. 23rd St., which is owned by Williams Equities, and the lease for the lease is for 15 years, according to the report, which said the deal is one of the largest New York City leases signed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
