Phillips Nizer Brings In Prominent Sports Atty As Partner
By Mike Curley (November 14, 2018, 1:47 PM EST) -- Phillips Nizer LLP has brought in prominent corporate transactional attorney Edward Schauder as a partner in its New York office, adding sports to the firm's intellectual property practice.
Schauder, who joined the firm Nov. 5, previously worked as general counsel for sports memorabilia company Steiner Sports, where he established sponsorship, memorabilia and endorsement deals with organizations and celebrities such as the New York Yankees, retired Yankees great Derek Jeter, New York Rangers' goalie Henrik Lundqvist, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tiger Woods and the Manchester City Football Club.
