Rams Win Pause To Fight Remand Of Suit Over LA Move
Law360, Los Angeles (June 20, 2016, 10:47 PM EDT) -- The soon-to-be Los Angeles Rams persuaded a Missouri federal judge Monday to hold off on sending a proposed class action over the team’s planned move from St. Louis back to state court during an appeal, according to a ruling that said a pause would save resources.
The Rams had asked U.S. District Judge Ronnie L. White to stay a May 10 order to send the case back to Missouri state court, where it was initially filed, because all of the parties are citizens of the state.
