Pit Crew Member's Wrongful Firing Suit Can Go To Trial: Judge

By John Kennedy (May 31, 2017, 8:40 PM EDT) -- A dispute between Michael Waltrip Racing and a former pit crew member should go to trial, a North Carolina judge said Wednesday, finding that the two parties dispute the circumstances of the crewman's firing and whether he stole MWR's confidential information.

Superior Court Judge Louis A. Bledsoe III, a special Superior Court judge for complex business cases, denied most of both sides' summary judgment motions in a 69-page opinion, finding that a number of facts remain in dispute.
