HTC Must Weather Smartphone Tracking Suit

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 4:38 PM EDT) -- A Washington federal judge on Tuesday said that an HTC Corp. unit and AccuWeather Inc. must face a proposed nationwide class action claiming the companies stiffed consumers by developing and distributing an app that needlessly tracked their locations.
