$122M Alleged Facebook-Google Scammer To Be Extradited

Law360, New York (August 11, 2017, 7:34 PM EDT) -- A Lithuanian appeals court said Friday that a man accused of scamming Google Inc. and Facebook Inc. out of over $122 million by posing as a major hardware manufacturer can be extradited to the United States.

The Court of Appeal of Lithuania upheld a lower court’s finding that Evaldas Rimasauskas can be sent to the U.S. to face charges in Manhattan of fleecing the two internet behemoths via an email-based con job.
