IPhone Buyers Ask For Cert. In AT&T Exclusivity Suit

Law360, New York (August 16, 2017, 4:45 PM EDT) -- A group of consumers accusing Apple Inc. of conspiring with AT&T to lock iPhone customers into the carrier’s voice and data plans asked for class certification on Tuesday, citing common threads in the customers’ complaints.

The group asked a California federal judge to officially recognize a class that would consist of all iPhone owners and AT&T customers who bought phones and service plans between 2008 and 2012.
