Louis Berger Settles Suit With Former Exec Over Bribery

Law360, New York (August 31, 2016, 6:41 PM EDT) -- The Louis Berger Group Inc. has reached a settlement in one of the two lawsuits the company filed in New Jersey state court against former executives over their bribery of foreign officials, criminal activity that ultimately led the business to pay a $17.1 million penalty.

Counsel for the New Jersey-based construction management company and its parent company, Berger Group Holdings Inc., and counsel for Richard J. Hirsch said in a stipulation of dismissal filed on Aug. 19 that "the parties have resolved all claims between them" and that the companies dismissed the lawsuit.
