Judge Unlikely To Dismiss Ex-Katten Atty Conspiracy Count

Law360, New York (October 6, 2017, 8:28 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Friday said she was not inclined to dismiss a conspiracy count against a former Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP attorney despite the fact Martin Shkreli, the leader of the alleged conspiracy, was acquitted on that charge.

Attorney Evan Greebel was seeking to offload Count 7 of the indictment, which charges he, Shkreli and others conspired to defraud Retrophin Inc. by using its shares to repay duped investors in Shkreli hedge funds MSMB Capital Management LLC and MSMB Healthcare Management LLC....
