Prosecutor Of Boston Marathon Bomber Joins Snell & Wilmer

Law360 (May 2, 2018, 7:46 PM EDT) -- A former federal prosecutor who was responsible for trying the Boston Marathon bombing case and has a background in investigation and white collar crimes has joined Snell & Wilmer LLP from the U.S. Department of Justice, the firm said Tuesday. 

Aloke S. Chakravarty has joined the firm's Denver office as a partner and will co-chair its white collar practice alongside partner James Melendres, who previously led the prosecution of former Central Intelligence Agency Director David Petraeus. Chakravarty will also work on its cybersecurity, data protection and privacy team.
