Facebook Slams Emerson's Attempt To See BladeRoom Deal

Law360 (June 8, 2018, 6:38 PM EDT) -- Facebook told a California federal judge Thursday that Emerson Electric, which is facing a $30 million jury verdict for stealing BladeRoom Group Ltd.'s intellectual property, can't see a confidential deal that allowed the social media giant to exit the same litigation.

Emerson has not yet established that it is entitled to an offset of the jury's verdict, Facebook Inc. argued, attempting to protect the settlement agreement that allowed it to escape the suit brought by U.K.-based manufacturing company BladeRoom.
