BofA Bundled Insurance Case Heads Back To Ga.

Law360, New York (June 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has rejected Bank of America Corp.'s challenge to an order remanding to Georgia state court an insurance fraud class action accusing the company of selling credit insurance coverage to customers who were not eligible to benefit from it.

In a per curiam opinion, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit ruled Friday that the bank had not met its burden of proof to show that the amount in controversy exceeded $5 million as required for removal...
