Papa John's Drivers Get Conditional Cert. In Wage Suit

By Braden Campbell (July 25, 2018, 7:02 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge has conditionally certified a collective of delivery drivers at about 700 Papa John's International Inc. corporate stores who allege the company's mileage reimbursement policy pushes their pay below minimum wage.

U.S. District Judge Cathy Seibel granted the drivers' motion for conditional certification in a July 20 bench ruling, saying they met the low bar to proceed as a collective under the Fair Labor Standards Act by outlining the company-wide policies they say break the law.
