Port Authority Workers Win Benefits Suit At NY Appeals Court

Law360 (August 10, 2018, 4:53 PM EDT) -- A split New York appellate court has ruled that the state comptroller wrongly excluded certain biweekly payments when calculating the retirement benefits for several Port Authority of New York and New Jersey employees, finding that the main purpose of the compensation was to delay the workers’ retirement after 9/11.
