Law360 (October 11, 2018, 5:01 PM EDT) -- Dilworth Paxson LLP has inked a settlement to end claims that a former attorney pursued knowingly frivolous litigation on behalf of a developer to intimidate a Philadelphia homeowner into dropping her objections to a condominium project next to her house.
The deal, which was noted in a one-page filing docketed in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday, ends allegations that ex-Dilworth Paxson attorney Jordan Rand brought three groundless lawsuits against a homeowner in the city’s Fishtown neighborhood after she refused to grant workers access to her property to work on the disputed condo project.
