NJ Plaintiffs Seek Cert. In Chiquita Terror-Funding MDL

Law360 (February 19, 2019, 10:47 PM EST) -- New Jersey plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation against Chiquita Brands International Inc. have urged a Florida federal court to certify a class of victims who they say were "brutalized" by Colombian paramilitaries that allegedly received more than $1.7 million from the business, citing that financing as the common thread running through individual claims.
