Trump Pardons Ex-Media Mogul Lord Conrad Black

Law360 (May 15, 2019, 11:29 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump on Wednesday fully pardoned former newspaper publisher Lord Conrad Black, who spent several years in prison after being convicted of committing mail fraud and obstruction of justice in 2007.

Black has a "distinguished reputation for helping others" and is "entirely deserving" of the executive clemency, the White House said in a statement from the press secretary issued Wednesday.
