Ex-MillerCoors VP Gets 3½ Years For $8M Fraud Scheme
Law360 (May 16, 2019, 4:16 PM EDT) -- A former executive with MillerCoors LLC has been sentenced to 3½ years in prison for bilking his employer out of more than $8 million in a 10-year fraudulent scheme.
U.S. District Judge Jorge L. Alonso on Thursday sentenced David Colletti, who formerly managed accounts for MillerCoors sales at stadiums and restaurants, to 3½ years in prison and two years of supervised release on one count of wire fraud. Judge Alonso reduced the sentence from prosecutors’ recommendation of a little more than five years in prison, in part because of Colletti's cooperation with the government against seven co-defendants.
