Real Estate Rumors: Uber, Icahn, MetLife

Law360 (September 13, 2019, 4:27 PM EDT) -- Uber Technologies Inc. is close to a deal to lease nearly 308,000 square feet of space at 3 World Trade Center in New York, Crain's New York Business reported on Friday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter. The ride-hailing firm is close to a deal with building owner Silverstein Properties to take seven floors at the building, and Uber may have an option to take an eighth floor which, if exercised, would give the firm more than 350,000 square feet at the building, Crain's reported.
