Whirlpool Faces Another Suit Over Washer Odors

Law360, New York (August 31, 2009, 3:15 PM EDT) -- Appliance manufacturer Whirlpool Corp. has been hit with a putative class action claiming defects in its washing machines leave clothes smelling moldy, the latest in a flood of mold cases against Whirlpool and its subsidiaries.
