Fen-Phen Plaintiffs Firm Hits Back In Insurance Spat

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 3:54 PM EDT) -- A plaintiffs firm accused of short-changing clients and other attorneys while handling New York state litigation over the diet drug fen-phen has hit back at Westport Insurance Corp. in the Swiss Re Group unit's bid to avoid defending and indemnifying the firm in a case over the split of attorneys' fees in the 2001 settlement.
