Boies Schiller Files New Privacy Suit Against 'Voyeur' Google

Law360 (July 14, 2020, 11:04 PM EDT) -- Mobile app users, represented by Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, filed a putative class action in California federal court Tuesday calling Google LLC a "voyeur extraordinaire" that lulls them into a false sense of privacy before ripping off their data and selling it.

It's the second such privacy suit against Google from Boies clients in as many months, following a June suit that accuses the search giant of violating user privacy by tracking user browser searches and other user activity even when "private browsing mode" is enabled.

Tuesday's suit, filed by Anibal Rodriguez and JulieAnna Muniz, focuses on Google's alleged privacy misdeeds...
