Fried Frank Co-Steers 1st Sports-Focused SPAC In $500M IPO

Law360 (July 28, 2020, 4:06 PM EDT) -- A blank-check company helmed by "Moneyball's" Billy Beane and the founder of RedBird Capital said Tuesday it's hoping to raise $500 million in an initial public offering steered by Fried Frank and Maples and Calder.

RedBall Acquisition Corp. plans to sell 50 million units for $10 apiece, according to a prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
