Anti-SLAPP Circuit Split Makes State Protections Uncertain

Anti-SLAPP laws aim to safeguard individuals from the chilling effect of strategic lawsuits against public participation, or SLAPP suits, brought in retaliation for the exercise of protected First Amendment activities.
