Biotech, Med Device Companies Price 6 IPOs Totaling $712M
By Tom Zanki (October 16, 2020, 8:27 PM EDT) -- Five biotechnology companies and a medical device firm went public on Friday after raising a combined $712 million from initial public offerings, capping a busy week in which nine companies tapped public markets for more than $2.3 billion.
The latest batch of six IPOs tapped the services of 11 law firms, when counting representation of issuers and underwriters. Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, Goodwin Procter LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP steered two deals apiece, while eight firms worked on one each.
