WWE Pursues 6-Figure Fees From Concussion Suits' Atty

Law360 (March 10, 2021, 9:02 PM EST) -- World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. and CEO Vince McMahon are seeking more than a half-million dollars in legal fees from the attorney that led former star wrestlers' since-dismissed complaints about the Stamford, Connecticut-based media, sports and entertainment company allegedly hiding the risks of concussions.

WWE and its leader asked Connecticut's federal court for a total award of $573,770.44 in a Monday memorandum. The filing took place ahead of a hearing, regarding WWE's two constituent applications for court-ordered fees, on March 30 with Magistrate Judge Robert A. Richardson.
