Index War Escalates With Suit Against ISE

Law360 (November 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Chicago Board Options Exchange, the largest U.S. market for equity and stock-index options, has filed a lawsuit to try and stop the International Securities Exchange from trading two of the most active index options.

The McGraw Hill Companies Inc., and the Dow Jones & Company joined the CBOE in the suit, which was filed Wednesday in response to an ISE lawsuit filed earlier this month in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The ISE suit asks that it be allowed...
