Albright To Apple: Koss Patent Row Won't Be Transferred

Law360 (April 23, 2021, 8:09 PM EDT) -- U.S. District Judge Alan Albright has rejected arguments from Apple to send an infringement suit filed in Texas by headphone maker Koss Corp. to California federal court, less than a month after it failed to secure a writ of mandamus on the issue from the Federal Circuit.

In a sealed ruling handed down Thursday, Judge Albright denied a transfer bid Apple lodged last year in response to an infringement suit that Wisconsin-based Koss hit the smartphone and headphone giant with in his Western District of Texas court in July.
