NY Starbucks Baristas' Tip-Sharing Suit Tossed

Law360, New York (December 16, 2009, 7:00 PM EST) -- A federal judge has granted Starbucks Corp.'s request to toss a putative class action brought by a group of former Starbucks baristas in New York who accused the java giant of violating state wage laws by enforcing a policy of splitting the servers' tip pool with shift supervisors.
