NBA's Wade Seeks To Block $90M Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (January 14, 2010, 4:43 PM EST) -- Arguing that the dispute has nothing to do with antitrust law, attorneys for basketball star Dwyane Wade have asked a court to throw out a $90 million suit accusing him of violating the Sherman Act by pulling out of a deal to endorse a chain of restaurants bearing his name.

Judge Kenneth Marra of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida held a hearing Thursday on Wade's motion to dismiss the suit filed by his former business partners LH Equity Investments LLC....
