2nd Circ. Decision Nixing Webcast Song Fees Stands

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 1:48 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from a unit of Sony Music Entertainment Inc. challenging a decision that webcasting services such as Yahoo Inc.'s Internet radio service are not required to pay individual licensing fees for the songs users play.
