NBA Star Awarded $1.4M From Financial Advisers

Law360, New York (January 29, 2010, 12:49 PM EST) -- A federal judge has awarded NBA star Ben Gordon, a former Chicago Bull who now plays for the Detroit Pistons, nearly $1.4 million in a suit alleging his former financial advisers breached a loan agreement.

Judge Charles Kocoras of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois issued the ruling Wednesday, agreeing with Gordon that he had performed all his obligations under the loan agreement and was entitled to the money from Larry Harmon & Associates.
