House Panel Says Toyota Misleading Public On Safety

Law360, New York (February 22, 2010, 6:18 PM EST) -- Two members of the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, which is planning a hearing on Toyota Motor Corp.'s recalls, have accused the company of failing to conduct a systematic investigation into sudden unintended acceleration in its vehicles and of making misleading statements about the issue to the media.
