Jets Fan's Contract Suit Rightly Booted: 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (May 21, 2010, 7:49 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed the dismissal of a "highly unusual" $61 million contract and fraud suit brought by a New York Jets ticket-holder who claimed the New England Patriots and their coach violated the law by taping the Jets' in-game signals.

The decision on Wednesday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit upheld Judge Garrett E. Brown Jr.'s March 2009 ruling in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that the lawsuit failed to state an actionable claim....
