DOJ Probes Apple's Online Music Tactics

Law360, New York (May 26, 2010, 10:50 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has reportedly launched an antitrust probe into Apple Inc.'s strategies in the digital music market, quizzing major music labels and Internet music companies about the technology giant's actions.

The early stage antitrust investigation is currently focused on the relationships between online music vendors and music labels, The New York Times reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources briefed on the inquiry.
