CMS Unit Back On Hook In Gas Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (June 7, 2010, 5:01 PM EDT) -- CMS Energy Resources Management Co. has been reinstated as a defendant in a suit claiming that a price manipulation conspiracy drove up the cost of natural gas in Wisconsin.

Judge Philip M. Pro of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada partially granted a motion for reconsideration from plaintiffs including catalog printer Arandell Corp. and cheese distributor and processor Sargento Foods Inc. on Friday, putting CMS Energy Resources back in the suit, part of multidistrict litigation alleging certain natural gas companies engaged in price-fixing....
