Air France-KLM Settles Price-Fixing Claims For $87M

Law360, New York (July 12, 2010, 11:37 AM EDT) -- Air France-KLM Group announced Monday that it had agreed to pay $87 million to settle allegations from direct purchasers in the U.S. that it and other airlines fixed prices in the air cargo industry.

Air France-KLM said in a statement that the deal released it from all claims in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York from direct purchasers of air cargo shipping services to and from the U.S. between 2000 and 2006.
