Wage-And-Hour Suit Against Time Warner Flatlines

Law360, New York (July 21, 2010, 3:47 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out a former Time Warner Cable LLC employee’s claims that the company denied its employees overtime pay, failed to pay terminated employees for accrued time off and failed to provide accurate wage statements.

Judge Andrew J. Guilford of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California dismissed the lawsuit Tuesday, vacating a scheduled hearing on Time Warner’s motion and placing the plaintiff on a steep path to properly amending the deficient claims.
