Pension Funds Seek Lead Role In BP Securities Cases

Law360, New York (July 21, 2010, 5:38 PM EDT) -- New York state's comptroller and Ohio's attorney general have asked a federal judge in Louisiana to let five public pension funds — one from New York and four from Ohio — take the helm in putative class action securities litigation against BP PLC and tap law firms Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC and Berman DeValerio as lead counsel.
