KBR Can't Squelch Burn Pit Litigation

Law360, New York (September 9, 2010, 6:32 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered initial discovery and asked the government for advice on how to proceed in consolidated litigation brought by soldiers against KBR Inc. and other contractors over alleged health hazards from flaming pits of waste at U.S. military installations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
