Private Chefs Wants TRO On Food Network Show

Law360, New York (September 22, 2010, 6:59 PM EDT) -- Private Chefs Inc. has asked a judge to issue a temporary restraining order blocking Food Network Inc. from launching the second season of “Private Chefs of Beverly Hills” on Oct. 12, accusing the network of stealing the show’s concept.

Private Chefs filed its ex-parte request for the TRO in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Thursday, saying it does not have enough time to seek relief through the noticed motions process.
