BBC Signs Content Partnership Deal With YouTube

Law360, New York (March 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Internet video site YouTube and British Broadcasting Corp., along with its global media division BBC Worldwide, said Friday that they have entered into a partnership agreement to provide BBC content on YouTube.

Under the non-exclusive agreement, the terms of which were not disclosed, Google Inc.-owned YouTube will offer BBC content on its Web site through special BBC “channels.” YouTube users will be able to comment on and rate clips, recommend clips to friends and post video replies, the companies said.
