Hendrix Estate Hits Back Over 'Georgia Blues'

Law360, New York (October 13, 2010, 6:16 PM EDT) -- The estate of Jimi Hendrix has fired back at saxophonist Lonnie Youngblood in a legal battle over the rights to a long-unreleased song that the two musicians recorded together in 1969.

Experience Hendrix LLC, which is owned by Hendrix's family and holds the rights to Hendrix's intellectual property, brought counterclaims against Youngblood in its answer filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
