DOJ To Appeal DADT Enforcement Ban, Seeks Stay

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 7:00 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday asked for an emergency stay of the injunction barring the Department of Defense from enforcing the “don't ask, don't tell” policy prohibiting gays and lesbians from serving openly in the military while it appeals the injunction to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
